What is the Pampered Chef About?
The Pampered Chef is a multi level marketing company which offers you the opportunity to start a business for yourself. You would be throwing home parties and offering cooking solutions to your customers. They market an assortment of cookware products with a lucrative compensation plan. Is the Pampered Chef a scam? No, it’s been around since the 80s, was bought out by Warren Buffet in 2002, and now has over 40 thousand consultants worldwide.
How Much Does it Cost to Join the Pampered Chef?
You have to purchase one of their kits to start your business. All kits include the getting started guide along with catalogs, brochures, receipts, invitations, thank you cards, and a few more marketing materials. They also include cooking products and utensils; the larger the kit, the more products you get.

The products range from spices, recipe books, pots, pans, utensils, grill, aprons, and even outdoor gardening tools to keep the yard presentable while hosting guests. The idea behind the Pampered Chef is that you want to offer your customer cooking solutions. How can you make their cooking experiences better and easier. The products range from under $10 to over $500. Their most expensive cookware set is $585 (unlike one of their competitors Saladmaster).
How Do I Make Money Selling the Pampered Chef? | Compensation Plan
What you want to do is climb the ranks.
- Senior Consultant
- Team Leader
- Advanced Director
- Senior Director
- Executive Director
- Senior Executive Director
- National Executive Director
Earn up to 27% on all of your sales.
You will need to maintain monthly requirements.
Overrides – get a percentage on the sales of your team. Earn up to 4% Override on your Personal Team sales.
Generational Override – (disclaimer: the following information may not be exact but it is my knowledge from all of my experience.) Once one of your recruits reach the Director status, they branch off to what is called your 1st Generation. Then, when one of their recruits reaches Director, they branch out to what is called your 2nd Generation. The Pampered Chef pays overrides down to your 3rd Generation. They pay up to 4% on your 1st Generation, up to 1 1/2% on the 2nd, and 1/2% on the 3rd.
Bonuses – up to $500 when a new 2nd Generation Director is promoted.
Car Bonus – Earn $500 at Executive Director, then $700 at Senior Exec. Director, and $900 at National Exec. Director.
