While surfing YouTube I found that Opinion Outpost was one of the best reviewed online surveying sites on the internet. I never believed that you could make money filling out surveys online, so I decided to do the research and find out what is Opinion Outpost all about.
I spent a week and many hours on the platform. I made some pocket change, and I will tell you the whole story. I also am going to go over why I do not recommend you signing up with Opinion Outpost, or any online surveying company for that matter.

Who It Is For
Online surveys are for anyone who either enjoy taking surveys or do not know how to make money online. I wouldn’t even show my kids how to do it because what I’m about to show you at the end I believe even a 10 year old can do.
No training necessary. All surveys are provided. All you need is computer and an internet connection.
I did not find enough support available. The website is very difficult to get around, or it’s not self explanatory. They do provide FAQs, however what I was looking for was impossible to find. It took me close to an hour to figure it out. (How much are the points worth and what’s the minimum
that I can redeem?)
Free to join. May cost you your time.
Verdict: Legit, very limited earning potential
I do reviews on products for a living. I spent one weeks time to review this product for you my readers. I spent one hour a day and five days this week taking the surveys provided. Here goes my experience. I hope that you don’t have to go through the same.
Starting out they have prescreen surveys in order to take the actual surveys. My first day I spent an hour filling those out because I did not qualify for any surveys. The surveys I did qualify for, told me I was not qualified or that there were too many responses already after I had answered the first few questions.
Day 2 & 3
The same thing happened to me the second day. By the third day I finally got to start taking a real survey. I spent about 45 minutes on the survey for them to tell me I had earned $1.50 on the survey. Needless to say, I was PISSED!
The Point System
Turns out the point system is as follows: 100 points = $10. Each survey provided to me was either 5-15 points. Which came out to $.50 – $1.50. Each survey provided would take an approximate time of 8 mins to 40 mins, and you have to be quick in order to get them done in those approximate times.
Day 4 & 5
By my 4th and 5th day I was a little happier with the results. Although, there were of course a lot of those prescreen surveys. I was able to take a few more surveys. I finally managed to make $5 total from all the surveys I took.
To my valuable readers, please don’t waste your time taking these surveys. Take look at my earnings, I made a total of $5 in 5-6 hours of time. That’s just about $1 an hour. I know your time is more valuable than that.
