Is Take Shape For Life a Scam? What is it All About? | Product Overview

Take Shape for Life takes a unique approach to the multi level marketing community. As you know, more and more people have turned to mlm businesses as a vehicle to financial freedom. Most MLMs offer an opportunity to break out of the 9 to 5 rat race into financial freedom, but it usually only happens for the top 2% of the company, as is the case at Take Shape for Life. TSFL is not a scam, it has been around for over a decade, and is the coaching division at Medifast Inc., its parent company.

Medifast has been serving healthy and nutritional meals for doctor agencies since the 80s. Mr. MacDonald and Dr. Wayne Scott Anderson teamed up to start this company TSFL. Take Shape for Life is unique in the sense that not only does it profit by selling dietary meals but also taking pride in getting it’s member certified to being health coaches and coaching clients. We’ll go over the ins and outs, along with the compensation plan within this review.

  1. what is take shape for life about a scamReach Executive Director – this is where you have $6000 in FLV, that’s around 20-25 clients, 5 Senior Coaches below you whom have at least 5 clients each for $1000 FLV.
  2. Reach Regional Global Director – which is replicating what you’ve done 5x above. So having 5 Executive Directors below you, with 20 Clients each, and 5 Senior Coaches with 5 Clients each. How’s that for exponential growth?

My Final Opinion of Take Shape For Life

Take Shape for Life has been certainly an intriguing business to research because I have trying to lose weight for years! The compensation plan seems pretty simple as well as well cut out. The products are a bit more expensive than I like to spend, however it pretty much weighs itself out (groceries vs plan meals). I am not a fan of MLMs because I do not like to sell nor recruit. Don’t get me wrong if you’re crazy about the products than they’re easy to share with people.

I’m more of an introverted person so I really dislike direct selling (and recruiting). It was a nightmare to do it for Amway when I did. There are several MLMs out there. You can feel free to check out my menu at the top of the page for “The Good” ones (in my opinion). I’m more of a stay at home kind of guy, so I choose internet marketing. 1. Hello

I have been looking for such a platform with comprehensive training and information on diets and weight issues for I am a publisher in such dimensions. Thanks for such informative review. But, how can I get similar platform which is cheaper or offering a free trial platform?

I will be waiting for your response

    1. Bruno, I agree with you, spending $199 from the gate is a bit expensive to get your business started. Well, at least to me it is. I steered away from starting my own business for many years because of costly expenses. I can finally say that when Wealthy Affiliate came around, it was a perfect timing for me. It was free to join, and I now pay less than a cup of coffee a day to run my online business. I think you’ll find it quite helpful as well as far as training. It’s not much like Take Shape For Life, but it can certainly get you started in the right direction.

If you want to be a health coach I would explore other options on Google, although for $199 I don’t see how you can wrong. TSFL might be a good opportunity to get into. Take a look at Wealthy Affiliate, and if it’s not for you, I say take the plunge on TSFL. You may get what you’re looking for.

  2. Hi Jonathan,

Take Shape For Life is not a scheme that I had come across before reading your review. You certainly have opened my eyes to this seemingly unique scheme.

Like you, though, I’m a bit introverted and so the idea of direct selling doesn’t really appeal to me.

Your rather meagre rating says it all! Probably not something I’d want to get into.

    Thanks –
    Steve

    1. A unique scheme indeed. Thanks for reading my review Steve, and if there is any way I can help you start a business let me know, I’d more than happy to help.

I like internet marketing because I get to stay at home and work on my website. Sometimes I feel I work better on my own. I enjoy making my own project and business decisions. I may network or co-operate a business project in the future. As of now I’m comfortable building out my website and working on my affiliate business with Wealthy Affiliate.

  3. This is an interesting review on Take Shape for Life. I’ve been interested in the area of health and fitness for the past 2 years. I’m also interested in getting into the health coaching business, so TSFL might be just the opportunity that I’ve been looking for. Have you tried the food that TSFL sells and does it taste good? I wonder how effective TSFL is in the long run. What percentage of people who use this program actually lose weight? And what percentage of people who use this program are actually able to keep the weight off in the long run? I’ve heard that a lot of these weight loss programs help people lose weight initially, but after about I year, they end up gaining all the weight back. I’m looking for a program that helps people to make healthy lifestyle changes so that they can lose the weight and keep it off in the long run. Thanks for the review!

    1. Hey Marc, I’m glad I was able to help you out. Let us know if you try out TSFL and how it works out for you. According to the fine print on Take Shape For Life’s website, the average weight loss for clients on the 5&1 weight plan is 20 lbs. I know what you mean by people gaining the weight back. The reason for the different plans are for just that. The 5&1 is for losing the weight, and the 3&3 weight plan is for keeping the weight off. I believe you have to be consistent and committed to maintaining a healthy weight.

Good luck in any business you choose to take off with, and if you need any help in the future with anything in this arena, reach out to me!

      Jonathan
