What is the SBK Center about? Is it a scam? Product Overview

The SBK Center, or Small Business Knowledge Center is a research marketing company that pays you for junk mail and email. It is not a scam, but you cannot get rich off of the program. If you’re interested in earning an extra $20-$60 a month it may be for you. They don’t take regular spam emails or those promotional newspapers that come in the mail. They take advertisements or mail that is directed to you or someone in the household. I’ll fill you in on what mail pieces they’re talking about a little further down my review.

The Good & the Bad

The Good:

PRO #1 – Free to Join

PRO #2 – Supplement your income by $20-$60 a month

PRO #3 – Get paid for your junk mail!

The Bad:

CON #1 – Limited earning potential

CON #2 – Giving out your personal information

Who and What is SBKC For?

This is for anyone 18 years or older looking to get compensated for their junk email or mail.

what is the sbk center aboutSBKC is a research marketing company. Similar to others I have reviewed Opinion Outpost, Smart Panel, or iPoll. They use your information to enrich advertising campaigns for many different companies. Your information assists companies with the knowledge of their competition and helps them make more intelligent decisions when it comes to their own marketing purposes.

As you know, there is a lot of money in advertisements and marketing. Being apart of SBKC will probably become a long term commitment. You will be assisting companies all over the country (USA and Canada) with their advertising campaigns. You will be helping many companies make better ads for their customers.

What Kind of Mail/Email Does SBKC Take?

It’s really important that you know the difference between which type of email/mail correspondence that SBKC needs from you. They need direct mailings, so mailings directed to you. Not the regular spam mail/email that everyone gets. This should be specific pieces of mail or email that comes in your name from different companies.

There is a long list of different types of companies and department stores. Here is a list of the different mail/email general types just to give you an idea:

SBKC Safety & Support

The SBK Center states that they are committed to your privacy. Their policy states that they will not share your personal information with anyone and that they shred all of your personal credentials after use.

You can reach Support during regular business hours via phone, email, or mail. Their websites states email will be responded to within 24 hours, but you should take into consideration that there have been complaints of SBKC not getting back to their consumers.

SBKC Price + How Do You Earn?

$0 Free to join.

There is no limit to how much junk mail or email you can turn in. You will be given points for everything you do turn in. You simply put all the mail into a prepaid envelope from SBKC and mail them as frequent as once a week, or you’ll be forwarding your emails to them.

Their point system allows you to redeem a visa debit card or gift cards (to more than 200 retailers) once you reach at least 2,000 points. SBKC will send you an e-newsletter with your point balance around the 15th of every month with your points balance. There will also be instructions on how to redeem your points if applicable.

Statistics show that the average panelists make about $20 every 6 to 10 weeks. You have the potential of earning more if you are a business owner.

My Final Opinion of The SBK Center

I think that the SBK Center is a really creative idea to help companies with their market research. It also gives consumers the opportunity to earn a little from just turning in their junk mail, but let’s be real no one is going to get rich off of this. I believe if you were looking at SBKC, you were actually looking for an opportunity to supplement your income. Honestly, an extra $50 a month could be helpful, but let’s face it, we’re not moving mountains with this type of money.

Sure, this is a good opportunity and I would take advantage of it if I were you, but I would recommend you find another solution to your problem. We all need to supplement our income. To be honest, we all want more! We also, all want to be paid what we are worth. How much are you worth? Let me tell you about an opportunity to earn money online in a different way that you’ve never known. It’s called internet marketing. You can learn more here.

As you can see I still recommend the SBK Center because it is an extra making money opportunity that you can earn a little extra money every month with very little effort. Unfortunately, I was only able to give it a 1 out of 10 rating because as you can see there is not much opportunity there!

  1. Hey there Jonathan,
You really got me at the title but man, earning from junk mails is something to think about. I wouldn’t be happy if all I ever did was sending mails.

Not only will it take a lot of our time, but with the limited earning potential, I agree that its not something wise that we can go for if we’re thinking long term. Great review as usual man, loving it!

    • Riaz, thanks for the praise! I really am grateful to receive such great compliments.

I agree with you, this is something for the long term, putting pennies in the piggy bank type money. 🙂

I find myself too busy to worry about sending mail or emails. I focus more of time on making the big bucks! Such as internet marketing with Wealthy Affiliate.

      I’ll see you around,

  2. Hi Jonathan,

It’s always nice to read an honest review. I agree with you that making an extra $50 from this is not going to make any difference to you at the end of the day. If you think of all the time you are investing to build someone else’s brand it doest really make sense. I’m with Wealthy Affiliate and what I love about them is that they teach you to build your own business where you have far more control over your income.

    • I agree Celeste. I’m also at WA, and I love being there too! It’s been almost a year, and I’ve had the blessing of making some money online. It takes time and hard work, and I’m still growing my business. Should be fully developed by the completion of a year, and making steady income.

With affiliate marketing you’re not subject to a limited income as you are at SBK. The more work you put in, such as building websites and blogs, the more money you will be able to generate.

Good luck with your business! I hope it flourishes into something great soon.

    • Are there any SBK Center users out there who can testify to how much, or what is the most that someone has made out there? Hopefully someone can answer us. For now, my research has shown that the average panelist has made $20 within a 6-10 week period. Honestly, I don’t know why this would be of interest for anyone. On the downside, that comes out to about $2 a week.

As I mentioned in my article, it’s great to get paid for junk mail, but I really don’t have the time for this. Wouldn’t everyone be interested in starting a business instead? Granted, it takes a while to get paid when you start a business. For me, it took me 6 months before I made my first $20 online.

Online business has a tendency to become passive income though. Though it started out slow for me, I’ve consistently made anywhere from $200-$400 monthly for the past couple of years. I’m still working on growing my business as well. If you pan it out, this has been a great return on investment.

I spend $29 a month on overhead, and get back around $250 monthly. That’s outstanding if you ask me! Do you get my drift? This is what I am trying to encourage others to do here. I’ve heard of people earning $10,000s online, but you have got to start from the bottom. Do not believe in a push button system, because there is none.

It’s gonna take hard work, long hours, and dedication. You can make it if you really put your all into it.

      Catch ya later,

PS. I removed the link because the website you left was not secure. I’m sorry but I won’t be able to share it with my readers.

  3. Thank you for this information. How to get in touch with SBKCenter?
Do you have their e-mail address or telephone?

Also I would like to ask you if your last name is of Croatian origin? I know some Matos in Zagreb , Croatia (but it is pronounced Matosh, because “s” has kind of apostrophe on it)

    • Hi Ina Zec, sorry I have not been able to get back to you sooner. I have been super busy with work. I have opened an auto repair garage for the past several months.

I am getting back into internet marketing. I do not believe I have any family from the Croatian descent. My family is from Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.

I don’t know hoe to get in touch with SBK Center. Gosh, it has been so many years since I have done this review. Thanks for commenting though.
